There was more than just the baby in this bread!

A bakery in Santa Ana, California has been shut down, after 40 customers got sick from eating contaminated Three Kings Bread that was sold at the bakery. Nurses at local hospitals called the police when people started coming in with symptoms of getting sick, hallucinating and even having out-of-body experiences after eating the bread.

Officials then went to the bakery and discovered a severe infestation of cockroaches and the bakery was immediately shut it down. Health inspectors then tested the Rosca de Reyes cakes and found a synthetic drug in them, although they wouldn't say what drug was found. A criminal investigation was opened into the bakery to further investigate what the drug is, and results are expected in about two to three weeks. The owners are said to be cooperating with police.

The bakery is going to stay closed until they can clean the entire bakery, throw out all the ingredients that were used to make the Rosca de Reyes bread and the entire staff must attend food safety training.
