Buzzfeed Names El Paso a City ‘Twentysomethings Should Pick up and Move To’

Another way El Paso is getting a better rep around the nation!

The website Buzzfeed is known for giving funny videos, interesting lists and crazy random subjects you can't help but look at. One of their newest lists is the "29 Cities All Twentysomethings Should Pick Up And Move To," and it includes well established hot spots, as well as some up and coming cities in the United States and overseas.

El Paso came in #7 on the list. Facebook user Elizabeth Olivas nominated the city and had this to say about El Paso:

“We have a great university, a low cost of living, amazing weather pretty much year-round, plenty of nightlife, theaters, outdoor activities, a zoo, a baseball team, a hockey team (in the desert!)… Someone stop me before I write an essay.”

Here are some of the other cities that are mentioned in the list:

• Seattle - which is known for their music scene, museums and food
• Salt Lake City - known for inexpensive homes, lots of craft breweries, art festivals and snow activities
• Phoenix - super easy to navigate, relatively cheap cost of living, and California is a short road trip away
• Kalamazoo - great cost of living, restaurants that serve locally grown foods, and home to companies like Pfizer that have entry level positions
• Atlanta - amazing music scene, Broadway shows before they hit NYC and festivals every weekend

Looks like El Paso is in some pretty good company.
