Brave House Cat Stares at Mountain Lion Through Window

Looks like this kitty waned to play.

Youtube star Tom Mabe is from Louisville Kentucky but was visiting a friend in Boulder, Colorado when this feline encounter happened. Maybe is a Youtube comedian who pranks people in his Youtube videos, and he still managed to prank his wife in the video.

The video starts with an understandable "Oh my God" from Mabe as he sees his friend's pet cat sitting at the window, staring into the eyes of a fully grown mountain lion. The mountain lion pawed at the window and hissed at the cat, seemingly torn between wanting to play or fight with the cat. The lionhearted house cat doesn't seem at all frightened, instead meowing at the mountain lion.

While the cats are busy, Tom Mabe whispers for his wife to come over and see the cats. When she sees the mountain lion outside the house, she asks her husband where the kids are. Maybe jokingly responded that the kids were "out back."

The Daily Camera Boulder News talked to Tom Mabe and he said the video was videotaped outside of Boulder, but wouldn't reveal the exact location. His friend's house, where the video was recorded, is up for sale and they don't want to frighten potential buyers.
