Blue Bell's New Flavor A Twist On An Old School Cafeteria Classic

Blue Bell's new ice cream flavor may seem familiar to fans of the Texas creamery. Cookies 'n Cream Cone is the newest Blue Bell ice cream flavor and Joe Robertson, the executive director of advertising and marketing for Blue Bell, says it may seem familiar:

“Some of you will remember our Cookie Cone, which inspired this flavor. Imagine our Cookies ’n Cream Ice Cream, then add in cone pieces and a fudgy swirl. It’s an ice cream with all of the delicious ingredients of a Cookie Cone. It’s your favorite cone, but in a carton.”

The classic Cookie Cone ice cream was introduced in 1997 and was mostly sold in school cafeterias. The ice cream flavor was discontinued in 2015 and hasn't been seen since.

Cookies 'n Cream Cone ice cream is available this week in half-gallon and pint-size at stores that sell Blue Bell ice cream. Cookies 'n Cream Cone is available for a limited time only.
