What a difference it would be if people listened and watched their own music every once in a while.Avril Lavigne's new music video "Hello Kitty" came out on Youtube last night. The video did not receive good reviews. Once the video was published, it was taken down a few moments later. (It's actually back on Lavigne's youtube channel.)

Fans were hating on Lavigne and husband Nickelback singer, Chad Kroeger, who co-wrote the song (Of course!) for copying Skrillex's side-shaved hairstyle and also the Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls that was done over a decade ago.

The video themed 'Here's to Never Growing Up' oddly has Lavigne switch from an exaggerated British accent to Japanese. Apart from everything else on the video, it kind of makes you wonder why Hello Kitty didn't have a small cameo on the video either....

I honestly saw Avril heading towards the rocker, sexy, Taylor Momsen kind of style ...but then, she released this, so let's just hope its a belated April fools joke.

So you be the judge. (Hey, I sat through it too!)
