I've always been a fan of Asking Alexandria and was really excited to grab their new CD this week, but they really made my day when I got into work and found these on my desk. Bands always send some CDs to give away to listeners plus some random swag that we can give away as well. T-shirts, stickers, whatever they think represents the band well. Asking Alexandria feels that this little kit represents them the best. And I like them even more for it! Asking Alexandria and Sumerian Records sent us..... Wet Safe Sex Kits! When songs like "White Line Fever" have the lyric, "While some daddy's little angel's getting dirt on her knees," they just want that little angel to be safe.

In the kit, you get a condom and personal lubricant, with some hilarious rules for using them. You can read them below as well as see what is in the goodie pack. I have no idea how we are giving these away but trust me, if you me out and about ask me for one I will most likely have one on me since all my friends can't stop laughing at how awesome these are.

Congrats Asking Alexandria for making me an even bigger fan. Not to mention the new album is ridiculously good! I couldn't tell you my favorite song yet. "Killing Me" is a song I already know by heart and find myself belting out in my car lie no one is looking. I hope they are though so they can wonder what is this music that makes me look insane in such a good way. "White Line Fever" has some powerful lyrics that one day I'd LOVE to discuss with the band. "The Road" makes you really feel the inner turmoil between wanting to be home and the tour life being the only way you know. The entire album really just shows how much the band has grown between their first two albums and this third. This is a declaration of maturity for the band and that it is not just about the rock and roll lifestyle of parties, bitches, and booze. It is about the music. And trust me, the music is worth it.
