American sniper Chris Kyle isn't the only one in the family with some serious shooting skills.

Taya Kyle, widow of American Sniper legend Chris Kyle, recently made quite the impression after beating an NRA champion shooter. But it was all for a good cause and to help bring awareness about the necessity to get better quality weapons to our troops.

Taya Kyle and NRA World Champion shooter Bruce Piatt were participating in the American Sniper shootout in Pflugerville, Texas.

Taya Kyle was shooting with a Tracking Point precision guided firearm, while Piatt used the same weapon used by our troops in combat. The two competed in a real-war scenario with battle stressors like fire, noise and explosions.

Taya Kyle hit 100% of her targets with the Tracking Point guided firearm, while Piatt hit 59% with his. Afterwards, Kyle expressed the need for our military men and women to receive the best in weaponry:

"I am passionate about getting the TrackingPoint guns into our warrior's hands. They are willing to give their lives for us; the least we can do is give them our very best in that fight."

The competition and event raised money for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.
