When did the band get together, and how?

The current line-up has been together for about 4 months.

Alexx recorded his debut cd, Escaping the Dungeon, at the now shuttered Clap of Thunder Studio with the help of Jim Ward and Gabriel (Gabe) Gonzalez of the international acts Sparta, Sleepercar and The Jim Ward Project.

Alexx wrote all the songs and played all the instruments and co-produced the debut cd himself (except drums,) and did all the vocals. Gabe Gonzalez engineered and co-produced the cd and contributed the acoustic and slide guitars and played bass on several songs. The "Clap of Thunder Ghost" provided some great background vocals.

The drummer on the cd quit the project before all the tracks were layed, and Alexx left the studio with the mastered cd in hand, totally solo and on his own.

After a long search for band members to play the music live, and countless line-up combinations which never jelled, Alexx finally found the right members to complete the permanent line-up, enlisting two old friends, Moises and Richard, and his new found friend Str1ng5 (pronounced strings.)

How would you describe your music to someone?

New original rock with a classic sound and feel. Our music has been compared to many bands, but the most common comparison has been Neil Young, and our sound has been described by several as Neil Young meets Black Sabbath, or Black Sabbath meets AC/DC.

The most frequent description of our songs has been that they are "catchy," and that they appeal to rock fans of all genres of rock, from the classic rock fans to metal heads.

The songs are hard rocking and melodic, very guitar oriented with good vocals and interesting, fun and meaningful lyrics.

Who are some of the bands that influence your music?

Countless rock bands from all genres of rock, from the 60's to the present, including the Beatles and Black Sabbath, to newer bands such as Godsmack, Three Days Grace and Pop Evil.

What is your most memorable gig so far?

That would have to be one of our latest shows at Soho Cocktail Lounge on May 2, 2012. This was only the third show with the current line-up, and we packed the house and captivated the audience from the first note to the last.

When we ended our set, we received so many compliments, with every person who approached me congratulating me on a "great performance." After we finished our set, 80% of the crowd left, not staying to see the other band. They obviously showed up to see what we were about, and left quite satisfied.

Are you currently signed to any kind of label or management?

Not yet. Actively seeking out record label support.

What other bands have your members been/are in?

Shovelheads, Last Minute, Thunder Road, Rise of the Rooster, Max Alley, El Tiempo, and countless others.

What other local bands would you recommend people check out?

All of them. Support your local music scene; that's where it all starts!

Where can people contact you to book you for shows?
