ABC's What Would You Do? returns tomorrow and we were joined on the air by reporter/interviewer John Quinones. In most of the scenarios on these specials I see myself walking on by and not getting involved. I might help somebody if they were clearly in distress and I thought my involvement could actually do them some good. But when it comes to a couple having an argument or a parent disciplining their kid, I have a strict "no involvement" policy. I'm kind of like The Federation in Star Trek. I don't violate the Prime Directive.

Here's a good example of why I tend to stick to my own affairs. If you click on that link, it will take you to a tragic event that happened on Friday in North Carolina. A 27 year old guy was driving when his car spun out of control on the ice. Three passersby, Good Samaritans, stopped to see if he was alright and if there was anything they could do for him. Long story short, this guy pulls out a gun and starts shooting the people trying to help him. One of them was killed.

Maybe the guy was drunk or on drugs or insane. Whatever. My point is, this wouldn't have happened to me because I most likely would've just kept right on driving.

Check out this clip from the show.
