The people of Baltimore spent last night rioting and looting in the streets of the city. But one group of young people are banning together against the violence.

Since the funeral of Freddie Gray, the people of Baltimore have been protesting, both peacefully and violently. Some groups, are protesting peacefully by singing and dancing in the streets to get their point across. Others, like the "purge" orchestrated by local high school students, are starting riots, burning police vehicles, breaking into businesses and basically creating havoc on the streets.

Yesterday, the Baltimore police reported that they had a "credible threat" that rival gangs in the Baltimore area had teamed up to "take out" police officers. The Black Guerrilla Family, Bloods and Crypts were all said to be working together to harm police officers in Baltimore to "send a message."

After this news broke, actual gang members contacted the local news media to want to get their story across. WBAL-TV in Baltimore went to a community meeting with church leaders, where actual gang members were also meeting to discuss the violence in the city. The men vehemently deny any sort of truce between them to harm cops, but there is a truce to help stop the violence. Watch the amazing video above, showing that all they want is their community back.
