Spend the weekend with kings and queens at the Renaissance Fair in Las Cruces this November!

On November 5th and 6th, get ready to be taken back 500 years to merry old England. The 45th Annual Renaissance ArtsFaire is happening at Young Park and it'll be a weekend of medieval fun full of food, art, games and royalty. Queen Sherrie will be on her throne along with her court while you peruse through all the fair has to offer!

There will be arts and crafts, magicians, jousters, magicians and even knights jousting in armor! Vendors will be selling original art and handcrafted items from around the region. Food vendors will be selling delicious items that will benefit local non-profit organizations. There's also entertainment on various stages along with a beer and wine garden and Magellan the Dragon.

Theres even a Children's Realm where they can enjoy special entertainment and activities just for them. There's even a scavenger hunt the children can joy. Attendees are welcome to dress up in period attire, adopt a British accent and act like they're in medieval times.

The 45th Renaissance ArtsFaire is Saturday, November 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday November 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person and kids 12 and under are free. There are even VIP passes you can take advantage of as well. Vip passes are $60 and include: "2-person one day entry, access to the VIP tent with refreshments and up-front views of jousting, photo ops with Jousters, preferred parking for one vehicle, and two vintage Ren Faire T-shirts.  For out-of-town guests, a New Mexico True VIP All Weekend Package is available through the Hotel Encanto:  $100 includes 2-person, all weekend entry, access to the VIP tent, photo ops with Ren Faire Royalty and Jousters, preferred parking for one vehicle, two vintage Ren Faire T-shirts, and reserved seating at the November 5th event at the Rio Grande Theatre.  See the Hotel Encanto website for more details."

You can also avoid parking by using the free "Royal Carriage," a shuttle that runs from the southwest corner of the Mesilla Valley Mall and Young Park. The bus will be riding to and from the event every 15 minutes. Parking onsite will be limited and use of the royal carriage is encouraged.
