300 Pound College Pitcher is Becoming Internet Famous

There are fat guys in the majors. David Wells looked like Garth Brooks had gone on a banana-split bender. David Letterman once called Terry Forster a “big tub of goo”. And, of course, I’m still convinced C.C. Sabathia is actually wrester Kamala the Ugandan Giant using a fake identity.

But all of these guys look positively svelte compared to Ben Ancheff, a pitcher for St. Thomas University in Miami. Watch the video and you can see there’s obviously some athleticism but Big Ben looks like he should be giving speeches about living in a van down by the river.
