I was beginning to think the time-honored tradition of the April Fools' prank was beginning to go out of style. 2015 will go down as the year that April Fools' made its comeback thanks to the following celebs.

3.) Rihanna Wakes Jimmy Kimmel in the Middle of the Night

With dancers, disco lights and a boombox playing "Bitch Better Have My Money"

Jimmy used to do a segment on our show back in the nineties as Jimmy D. the Sports Philosopher so I've been a fan longer than most. You can tell Jimmy was really asleep because his face is puffy and his eyes are only halfway open...no, wait...that's how he looks all day long.

2.) Stephen King Announces He Will Write Walking Dead Season Opener/ Kill 6 Major Characters

Including Darryl! The internet was not amused.

What makes this so effective is that Stephen King is about the only guy they might...might...give enough free rein to do something like this. On second thought, no. They wouldn't even let Edgar Allen Poe kill off Darryl.

3.) Katie Couric makes James Corden Her April Fools' Bitch

By breaking her neck on the steps of his set.

It was actually a stunt woman who took the tumble and everyone was in on it except James Corden. He looks legitimately freaked out so he was either a.) genuinely in the dark or b.) a much better actor than I thought he was from watching Into the Woods.  Either way, very well played and an inspiration to us all.
