27 Hour I-10 Closure Happening This Sunday In West El Paso

Finally! We can see light at the end of the tunnel. We're in the end phase of the construction on I-10 in West El Paso and TXDOT's goal is to have the Go 10 Project's roadwork done by the end of the month. We still have a few more 27-hour closures coming up this month but at least we know that they may stop hindering your weekend plans before the summer is over. We have another 27-hour closure coming up this weekend so here are the areas you should avoid before heading out this Sunday:

From Sunday, June 16th at 3 a.m. until Monday, June 17th until 6 a.m., here are the road closures you can expect:

• I-10 East will be COMPLETELY CLOSED from North Mesa Street to Sunland Park Drive
• I-10 West will be COMPLETELY CLOSED from Executive Center Boulevard to Redd Road
• Westbound CD lanes will be CLOSED starting at Sunland Park
• I-10 West Sunland Park entrance ramps CLOSED
• Westbound US 85 overpasses leading to Sunland Park area CLOSED
• Eastbound to westbound turnaround bridge to Paisano Drive CLOSED
• Schuster/ UTEP entrance ramp to I-10 West CLOSED
• North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 East CLOSED
