An Arizona family woke to discover that a bundle of 26 pounds of marijuana had plummeted from the sky, crashing through their carport and crushing their dog house.

The incident happened earlier this month in Nogales, near the U.S.-Mexico border, according to Nogales International News. Maya Donnelly said she thought the crash she heard in the middle of the night was thunder and then notices pieces of broken wood and her dog's house smashed, when she went outside in the morning.

Police said the bundle of pot, worth about $10,000, was likely dropped from a drug smuggler's aircraft or drone.

Donnelly said the weed bundle left a perfect hole in the roof of her carport and was sitting atop the crushed dog house when she went outside. She and her husband called 911 and the marijuana was taken into police custody.
