The recent shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado has left the country horrified, confused, and angry.

That's understandable in the wake of a tragedy like this.  I'm sure I speak for all of us here at KLAQ when I say that our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected by this terrible and heinous crime.

So where does the WTF come into play?

The lawsuits are already starting.  Read more from yahoo.com.

A survivor of the attack, Torrance Brown, has announced plans to sue the theater.  According to the Brown families publicist (yeah, the families publicist!) Cassandra Williams;

"We're going to make sure whoever is accountable is going to take responsibility for this tragedy"

According to them, that accountability goes to the theater.  They're opinion is that the theater is responsible for this because they didn't lock the emergency exit (which, I believe, is illegal anyway) and because the emergency exit had no alarm or guard.

There is also talk of suing Warner Brothers for making violent movies.  I love this one.  How could the fake violence in this movie be the cause of all this carnage when the maniac that did it (like everyone else that night) hadn't even seen it yet?

Even the accused mans doctors are on the lawyers list right now.  What next? Will they add the fast food joint that messed up the killers order earlier that day for making him mad in the first place?

I'm thinking there's a lawyer or two in the Brown family.  Uh oh. Now they'll probably sue me for making them look bad.

Anyway, that's my WTF for this Wednesday.

What do you think?  Does anyone other than the sick f*** that did this have any blame or accountability in the matter?
