Women And Children First Benefit December 21st

A bunch of Local Locos are teaming up to raise money for the La Posada Home.

Saturday, December 21st, B-17 Bombers Oyster Pub ... S. El Paso @ San Antonio ... will be rockin' with the "Women And Children First" charity concert to benefit the La Posada Home. The bands playing the benefit, include Texas Voodoo Stomp, Fusebox,  Counter Play, Nowhere Man, Sancho Villa and Turncoat.

The home, according to womenshelters.com, was established in 1986 to assist women and children who find themselves homeless, are victims of violence or abandonment or who have no other options.

The Posada homes' Facebook description adds that they also "provide safe shelter, confidential services and housing assistance to individuals in crisis due to domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking."

Admission is free but, please donate as much as you can to help these women and children rise above their situations and find both safety and success.
