Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is kicking off his North American 'Speaking Words' tour tonight (Feb. 20) in Chicago. The trek will feature the metal veteran standing onstage telling intriguing stories about his life, and answering questions from fans.
Metallica and Anthrax are not only part of 'The Big 4,' but also came up through the metal ranks at the same time. Their shared history dates back to the '80s, and sadly Anthrax were there with Metallica during the most traumatic and tragic event of their early career -- the death of bassist Cliff Burton.
You may have caught Scott Ian's 'Speaking Words' in Europe last summer, and if you're in the U.S., you may be catching the Anthrax guitarist's 2014 North American tour dates.
