School District

Ponder ISD is the latest to jump on the 4 day week band wagon bringing the total number of Texas school districts doing this to 113. The number of classroom hours required by the state doesn't change. Question: Where the hell was this idea when I was in school????

There is some news going around that some parents in El Paso can relate to.

It started with a post about how to deal with stress. It ended with a bunch of childish comments worthy of a middle school lunch room.

Back in my day when I was in school the only thing that was a concern to them was my grades. Well times have change. Its causing a lot of controversy but some parents think its needed. Should schools in El Paso & Las Cruces do this?

The woman in the photo is EPISD School Board President Isela Castanon-WIlliams and the story has to do with her conflicting accounts of how this scandal
