The College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, is darn proud of their shrimp on a treadmill, even though their experiment spent over half a million dollars of taxpayers' money. CoC marine biologists, professors David Scholnick and Lou Burnett, say this is serious geo-climatalogical business.
According to a story at sciencemag.org, a UCLA geography professor and his class of undergraduates did a study that has turned out to be very accurate, successfully predicting the general area where Osama bin Laden was hiding in plain sight.
