We got an excellent "Stump the Chumps" question the other day, and it sure stumped us! Believe it or not, the first place in the United States to pass a law banning marijuana was -- EL PASO, TX IN 1914!

With all the talk over the past couple of days about new restaurants coming to town and what restaurants people would like to see come here, it got me thinking about two El Paso institutions that people that don't live in El Paso anymore would love to have in their city. And those two El Paso legends...Chico's Tacos and KLAQ!

The rumor mill on our sister station, 600 ESPN El Paso, has been churning on this here and there, but today it becomes official: quarterback Jameill Showers is leaving Texas A&M and transferring to UTEP where he will play this fall. For more on a big day for  UTEP football, click the link below.

There is a new study we've been talking about on the Morning Show showing that, though the drug violence is nowhere near where it was two years ago, residents of Cd. Juárez still don't feel safe. So here's a question for those of us north of the border: Is it safe -- or safe enough -- to go back yet?
