Slipknot / Scar the Martyr drummer Joey Jordison recently weighed in with his personal thoughts on some of the biggest heavyweights in modern metal and the rocker was nothing but honest and forthcoming, providing some very candid responses.

Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and his latest musical endeavor Scar the Martyr are preparing for the release of their debut self-titled disc on Oct. 1, and as if that wasn’t enough, Jordison recently shared that he’s constantly working on new material for Slipknot too.

Slipknot are currently on tour in Australia with a million other awesome bands for the 2012 Soundwave Festival. Drummer Joey Jordison sat down with SoundwaveFestTV to speak about topics such as their love for Australian fans, their determination as a band and the death of bassist Paul Gray.

Apparently, Joey can explain why he threw his guitar at the drum riser and stormed off stage in France last night. Not once, but twice.

Contrary to what Joey said the other day, Corey Taylor sticks with what he's been saying for a while now: "Like I said: Shows? Yes. Album? No. Baby steps, people. For the fans.
