Firefighter

The El Paso Fire Department is offering a unique opportunity for local youth to gain an understanding of fire and public safety issues while having some fun! Students ages 13 to 17 are invited to sign up for the El Paso Fire Departments Summer Youth Camp.

Firefighters are at times tasked with rescuing animals while on duty, but one El Paso Firefighter went above his call of duty after rescuing a dog from a canal in Socorro, Texas.

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted and that quote was proven to be true after one El Paso Fire Paramedic offered help to someone in need while he was on duty.

It takes a lot to become a Firefighter and this is the kind of combat challenge they need to pass.
