As of May 7, 2025, all Texas ID cards and driver licenses MUST be Real ID compliant or else you may find yourself unable to visit certain places or do certain things.

The Texas Department of Public safety is in charge of handing out/maintaining the driver license's in Texas and they are WAY behind.

Back in the day, renewing your driver license was almost as complicated as getting it in the first place.

If the Texas Driver Responsibility program cost you your license, there's a good chance you can have it reinstated!
