Dead Sara rocked Balloonfest 2012 on Saturday, following all the local bands at Wet N Wild Waterpark after a day of hot air balloons, sun, water and beer.
Day 1 of Balloonfest 2012 kicked off perfectly with the balloon launch at Santa Teresa Country Club at 6 a.m. and everything went perfectly, with all the balloons taking flight. Check out that gallery here. Then we moved the party to Wet N Wild to begin the rides, and of course, the concerts!
Dead Sara stopped by the KLAQ studios to perform a special acoustic set for some loyal fans before their show at Tricky Falls with Chevelle this evening. They played a couple songs live for us (see below) and then hung out with winners and talked Balloonfest, and their hopes to ride in a balloon when they come down!
Female fronted band Dead Sara have just released the new song ‘Dear Love’ from their upcoming self-titled debut album due out April 10 via Pocket Kid Records/Fontana/ Universal.
I'm now home from Austin after spending several days with Buzz, Teresa and Duke, stalking celebrities and bands and bringing the performances inside our SXSW studio to you in El Paso. It was a whirlwind of a trip, check out my play-by-play of events: Wednesday, March 14
The band Dead Sara stopped by KLAQ's Austin studio as the Morning Show goes live from the SXSW Festival. Singer Emily Armstrong and guitarist Siouxsie Medley chatted with Buzz, Duke and Teresa AND performed live.
