This past Friday in front of 2,000 boxing fans at the Southwest Unversity Events Center, El Paso boxer David Rodriguez suffered his second loss in his career when Raymond "King Kong" Ochieng knocked out Rodriguez in 1 min 37 seconds of the first round.

El Paso Heavyweight Boxer David Rodriguez returns to ring this Friday as he takes on Raymond "King Kong" Ochieng at Southwest University Events Center.

On July 18th, David Rodriguez returns to the ring for the first time in seven months when he meets Raymond Ochieng at Southwest University Event Center. Tickets start at $20 and you can sit ringside for $50. El Nino has plenty of fans and haters but always attracts a big crowd whenever he fights in El Paso...

A couple of weeks ago El Paso Boxer and friend of the KLAQ Morning show David Rodriguez was attacked outside a pizza parlor in Scottsdale Arizona.  You read more about it here. After weeks of speculation, David came on the morning show to tell his side of the story.

Some more details are coming out about the attack on undefeated Heavyweight boxer (and good friend of the Morning Show) David Rodriguez. You've probably heard by now that David was slashed by an unknown assailant outside a restaurant in Scottsdale on Friday.
