There's something about a closed music venue that hits different than any other shuttered business — El Paso has lost more than a few worth talking about.

From underground acoustics to ghost town stages, Texas knows how to keep live music alive in the most surprising spots.

El Paso has, and has had, a number of concert venues and each one of them has seen some incredible shows. They all have amazing history but "Tricky" had character.

We also have huge military installations and big, world record holding boots as well. Even our food portions are monstrous ... the very list of our big things is "big". Now, here's one more thing Texas can add to it - entertainment venues.

They have been remodeling the former club/concert venue since around 2018. Wow ... I guess all us sinner, rock 'n rollers really made a mess in there.

I've seen a ton of bands perform in the Borderland. Some "rookies", some on their way to rock super-stardom and some that had already achieved "legend" status.

I have seen so many great bands in El Paso and Las Cruces in so many great venues. Do you remember all these?
