UTEP standout guard Souley Boum, who is top-10 all-time in career scoring for the Miners, announced today that he will be entering the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility and entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

A trio of UTEP basketball guards entered the transfer portal on Tuesday, bringing the total to six players set to depart from the program this offseason.

The UTEP-Western Illinois first round matchup of The Basketball Classic postseason tournament has been pushed from a Tuesday tip to a Saturday afternoon contest due to travel issues within WIU.

UTEP is set to host Western Illinois of the Summit League on Tuesday, March 15, at 5 p.m.

Following internal deliberation, the UTEP men's basketball team has accepted a bid to join The Basketball Classic postseason tournament, and the Miners will lace up their sneakers this Tuesday for a 5 p.m. tip against an opponent to be determined.
