Music may be his calling in life, but singer Billy Corgan is now working on a new career.

The Smashing Pumpkins are out on tour with Marilyn Manson right now, but Corgan has hinted recently that the group may be coming to an end. He has stated that he is committed to the Smashing Pumpkins till the end of the year, but after that he wasn't sure. Now, TNA Entertainment has announced that Corgan has been hired at Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling as a "Senior Producer, Creative and Talent Development." In this new role, Corgan will be developing the characters and storylines for Impact Wrestling and other programming.

Billy Corgan has been a long time fan of professional wrestling, from his 2008 song for the Pumpkins "G.L.O.W." which stands for Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling, to his creation of the Chicago wrestling league Resistance Pro in 2011. Morgan severed his ties with Resistance Pro in 2014 and now it seems he has moved up to an even bigger wrestling group.

Billy Corgan talked to TNA Impact Wrestling in a Youtube video about his new job, and shed his excitement for this new opportunity.
