Skillet Goes Acoustic with Monster — Live from Studio C

Skillet is one of those Christian rock bands that rock so hard you actually forget about the whole Christian rock thing. They've been nominated for Grammys, their new album Unleashed debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard charts and they're the first Christian rock band to top the mainstream rock charts.

KLAQ was lucky enough to have the band stop by Star City Studios to play some songs for lucky listeners before their show down at Tricky Falls that night. "Monster" was the second single to be released by Skillet off their 2009 album Awake. The song was their first breakthrough hit, peaking at number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart and hit number 1 on the Christian Rock radio chart.
