My name’s Veronica Gonzalez. I have been the biggest fan of the company I work for since I was yay-high (still yay-high 5’3″). Once I got into my comm classes when I was in college, I began interning here in 2004 and left in 2006. Then, four years later, I landed a part-time board operator position on weekends here at the station. I was your co-pilot on the weekends, but on May 22, 2017, I was given the news about landing the KLAQ afternoon host position. Ladies and Gents you can now turn me on every Monday – Friday 2-7 p.m. and occasional weekends on 95.5! Remember the radio legends such as Super Mario, Kat Tyler, Magic Mike, Big Al, and Scott Ronson? They once had this time slot and I feel damn proud to have pushed myself to be a part of it.

I’m tough but not enough to scare you. I’m smart but sometimes to lazy to show it. I will be your bestie, if you can be mine. I’m crazy, but not to the point where I can’t control it. I’m simply me, and that’s all I can be. At times I have the worst freakin’ luck ever. I’m always in a rush, since time is NEVER on my side. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m indecisive and also choosy which are very frustrating qualities. I get amped meeting new people.

I freakin’ love life and everything that comes with it. Life is full of beautiful mistakes, and sometimes just mistakes that teach you a lesson. Life should never be given up on or taken for granted which is what I’ve learned. And that’s why my dreams reach farther than I think is possible which is all the more reason for me to accomplish them. I don’t give haters my time and strive every day to never become one.
