A second beheaded cat was found in the Manhattan Heights neighborhood of central El Paso. On Monday, the head and paws of another cat was found in front of a home and now, a owner is asking for help to find his Tabby cat.

I've been seeing comments on other media sites about El Pasoans saying, why is this news? Well, studies have shown people who abuse animals, are usually just as aggressive towards humans.

People in the Manhattan Heights neighborhood are freaked out by what's going on, "It gives me the creeps that someone in the neighborhood thinks it's okay to mutilate animals," said Edward Holland.

According to ABC-7, the Newman Park Neighborhood said, back on Sept. 6, "head and front paws were carefully placed on the street corner." This time, the second set of paws and head, where placed in front of a home.

The El Paso Police Department has been assigned to this case and are currently investigating the crime.

A owner in the neighborhood is asking for help to find his missing orange tabby cat, "Copernicus." If anyone has an information, please e-mail Jim Tolbert at diegotolbert@gmail.com.

The Neighborhood Association are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity by calling Crime Stoppers at 915-566-8477.
