Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. West Area Project Closures

New Fence Installation

Mon, April 13 - Fri, April 17 (9 am - 4 pm)

• SH-20 southbound on Doniphan from Mowad to Easy Way shoulder closed.

Tues, April 14 - Thurs, April 16 (9 am - 4 pm)

• I-10 West from Cotton to Downtown two left lanes CLOSED
• I-10 East from Downtown to Cotton one left lane CLOSED

• Loop 375 Border Hwy east/westbound at Coles Overpass alternate lane closures.

• Loop 375 east/westbound from Resler past Tom Mays Park Access Rd closed by picnic areas.

• Airway turnarounds closed in both directions.
• Airway underpass right lane southbound closed.
• Viscount/Hunter turnarounds closed in both directions.
• Alternate lane closures on Gateway Blvd West and East from Hawkins to Robert E. Lee.
• Viscount South alternate lane closures.
• Viscount North from Gateway Blvd West to Acer alternate lane closures.

• Shoulder closed from McRae westbound on-ramp to Viscount overpass.

• Durazno Street will be CLOSED to thru traffic between Uva Street and Bowie Street

(9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

• Ramp H which connects Eastd I-10 to North US 54 will be CLOSED to all traffic.
• The Exit Only lane on East I-10 between Copia Street and Raynolds Street will be CLOSED to all traffic.
• Gateway Boulevard East will be CLOSED to all traffic adjacent to Lincoln Park.
