2019 may have just started but that hasn't stopped the continuous construction and road work happening. Find out what closures are coming. Doesn’t matter when you’re traveling through the west side of El Paso, it looks like congestion is going to be an issue. Even the east side isn’t immune to traffic and headaches. With road closures, lane closures and more, El Paso traffic is getting worse before it gets any better. There will be some major freeway and road closures happening this week so make sure you are aware so you don’t get caught stuck in traffic.

I-10 West at Executive Center Blvd

Tuesday, March 26 & Wednesday, March 27 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • I-10 West CLOSED from Executive Center to Sunland Park Drive
  • I-10 West Schuster/UTEP entrance CLOSED

Thursday, March 28 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

  • I-10 Westbound right 2 lanes closed at Executive exit ramp
  • Executive exit ramp also closed

North Mesa 

Sunday, March 31 (3 a.m.) to Monday, April 1 (6 a.m.)

  • All I-10 at Mesa exits and entrances CLOSED
  • Mesa Street CLOSED from Osborne to Remcon Circle

I-10 West at Sunland

Thursday, March 28 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • I-10 West Sunland Park entrance ramp CLOSED
  • I-10 West down to 1 lane

US 54

Saturday, March 30 (5 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

  • US 54 COMPLETELY CLOSED from Hondo Pass to Transmountain

I-10 at Hawkins

Monday, March 25 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

  • Gateway West Blvd at Hawkins intersection CLOSED
