The rise in popularity of online porn has caused young men's non-ability to rise during sex.

An expert has warned that more and more young men are now seeking treatment for erectile dysfunction due to online porn addictions. Online porn is giving individuals more exposure to graphic visuals that are desensitizing young men. This has caused young men to have more trouble getting aroused in the bedroom.

Online porn is even more accessible than ever thanks to technology. People are able to access porn easily on their computers, laptop and smartphones, which a leading psychosexual therapist believes has lead to this problem.

Angela Gregory is a psychotherapist and has a clinic at Nottingham University Hospital.

She told BBC:

'What I've seen over the last 16 years, particularly the last five years, is an increase in the amount of younger men being referred. Our experience is that historically men that were referred to our clinic with problems with erectile dysfunction were older men whose issues were related to diabetes, MS, cardio vascular disease. These younger men do not have organic disease, they've already been tested by their GP and everything is fine. So one of the first assessment questions I'd always ask now is about pornography and masturbatory habit because that can be the cause of their issues about maintaining an erection with a partner.'

A 2014 study by the Journal of Sexual Medicine stated that one out of every 4 new erectile dysfunction patients are now under the age of 40. Another study in the Behavioral Science Journal showed that online porn addictions were similar to behaviors of drug addiction, that lead to lowered sexual "enjoyment" and a diminished libido.
