New Tricky Falls Show – Amon Amarth

Tricky Falls already made our day with the Black Label Society show in August, now the Viking in all of us should get ready to rock with Amon Amarth!

Tricky Falls released another show coming with Amon Amarth, Sabaton and Skeletonwitch  in November. So get your drinking horn and Viking gear ready to party it up with one of the best metal bands from Sweden!

Amon Amarth is every Viking/ Tolkein geeks dream, with the name being the Sindarin name of Mount Doom in Middle Earth. The band's lyrics deal with Viking mythology and their history. Not to mention that the band typically performs onstage on half a Viking ship, while the lead singer always has a drinking horn hanging from his hip. The first time I saw this band, I was in awe at their stage set up and the power they possess onstage. One of the best shows I have seen!

Another one of Sweden's greats is Sabaton. The band's lyrics typically discuss wars and historical battles. I've never had the honor of seeing Sabaton in concert but I have heard that they throw one of the best shows around. My metal brother who left me for Grand Rapids, Johnnie Walker said Sabaton is a show that every metal head should see.

The last band on this bill is Skeletonwitch, and the only Americans on this tour. They are a black - thrash metal band that hail from Ohio. I haven't listened to this band enough but one fact makes me think I really need to get into them more. Earlier this year, the band was banned from playing a show at the House of Blues in Orlando after they were deemed "unfit to be associated with Disney." For this, I salute you Skeletonwitch.
