UTEP head football coach Mike Price discusses the disheartening loss to No. 25 Southern Miss. The Golden Eagles took advantage of some key Miner miscues in the fourth quarter to run away from UTEP, improving to 7-1.

The Miners fall to 4-4, 1-3 in C-USA play.

Miners QB Nick Lamaison also thought UTEP left a few plays on the field.

And then there's UTEP linebacker Jeremy Springer. The senior felt most responsible after being whistled for encroachment as the Golden Eagles went for it on 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter.

Southern Miss continued its progress, driving 98 yards for the game-sealing touchdown.
