I pity the bass tech that would have to tour with this behemoth!

Christopher "C3" Cardone of Kalium Strings, formerly Circle K Strings, has created a massive 24-string bass that he has named "Godzilla." Cardone played his instrument in this video showing off for your listening pleasure. One Youtube comment explained what he thought of the instrument's sound saying, "A lot of rich, shimmering tones coming out of that bass!  It's a very interesting and captivating way of pushing the envelope where bass guitars are concerned."

This instrument was originally created just as a showpiece, to show off all the different strings that Kalium have to offer, as well as Hipshot products, because all the hardware on the piece are Hipshot as well. Instead, Cardone says he made "one of the most amazing instruments he has ever played."

In reality, can you imagine how much it must suck to tune or restring that bass? There would go all your plans for an entire day.

Cordon gives some pretty interesting comments as well on how more people need to be creative in their lives and their passions. Good advice from a pretty cool dude.
