Local Band 101: Special Edition

This one isn't really about a band but, about a very cool place for bands to work and perform!

I posted a blog earlier today about a bluegrass act performing at a local recording studio. That generated a few questions from people who didn't know the studio even existed so, here's the lowdown on Star City Studios.

The state of the art recording studio features several different recording areas including a "great" room, (aka "Studio C"), that can be used for everything from recording large bands to hosting concerts and other events. The studio also serves as an art gallery, holds art exhibits and is the home of Monk Drums. We here at The Q have held a few private acoustic performances at Star City Studios with bands like Red Sun Rising, Bobaflex and Skillet just to name a few. It's truly an amazing place to work and even just to visit.
