Nylia Ballet Academy Accepting Auditions For Inaugural Season
Ready to make your mark on El Paso’s vibrant arts scene? The Nylia Ballet Company is making its grand debut, and they’re looking for talented dancers to join their exciting inaugural season! Don’t miss your chance to audition for their first major production, Dracula, set to dazzle audiences in October 2024.
AUDITIONS
Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Nylia Ballet Academy, located at 13340 Soleen Rd. Suite D. Here’s what you need to know:
- Youth Auditions (ages 13 and under): From 9:00 to 10:30 AM, with a mandatory parent meeting from 9:00 to 9:30 AM.
- Company Auditions: Aspiring Company members can audition starting at 10:30 AM.
- Adult Auditions for Dracula: 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
- Adult Company Auditions: Begin at 1:30 PM.
There is a $20 audition fee for those interested in joining the Company. Becoming a Company member comes with fantastic benefits, including guaranteed roles in productions, professional training, competition opportunities, marketing photoshoots, and tuition discounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated dancers to grow and showcase their talent in a professional setting.
The Inaugural Season
The Nylia Ballet Company’s inaugural season promises to be unforgettable. After Dracula, they’ll enchant audiences with the classic Swan Lake in February 2025 and close out the season with the timeless Sleeping Beauty in June 2025. Each performance will bring a unique and captivating experience to the Borderland.
