Alejando Fernandez announced he's touring the U.S. again this fall, and one of his stops will be El Paso.

The Grammy Award-winning son of the legendary Vicente Fernández will perform at the Don Haskins Center on Friday, September 29 as part of the 21-city “Amor y Patria” U.S. tour.

Loosely translated, patria refers to one’s homeland of which they are very proud to be from.

The tour, which the Mexican ranchero and mariachi singer is dedicating to his late father, “Chente,” will be an all-new show and feature his son, Alex Fernández, as the opening act in most cities, including El Paso.

And no doubt Fernandez will perform some of his songs dressed in the traditional formal charro garb. You know what that means: sombrero, short fitted jacket, and super sexy tight pants. Ajua!

Fernandez is no stranger to the Sun City. He brought his Hecho En México Tour to the Don last year as part of a 19-date U.S. tour.
