Trick or Treat? A Cold Front Could Sweep Through Texas In Time For Halloween
Here's some good news for those who are tired of upper 80's and low 90 degree weather that we have seen for the most part of October. It appears as though some relief is on the way.
A weak front will make its way through portions of Texas late this week, but temperatures are still expected to be on the warm side heading into Monday and Tuesday of next week. But a front is supposed to make it's way through the state around the middle of next week with high temperatures in the 70's Thursday and Friday of next week and then cooling off even more in Lubbock and in West Texas.
Those in Dallas-Fort Worth can expect a similar cool down going from 90 degree weather to lower 80's just in time for Halloween.
Texans in the Amarillo area could see high temperatures in the upper 60's to low 70's on Halloween with high temperatures even lower as we move into November.
I know we have heard this before this fall, but it looks like, maybe we are seeing an end to temperatures in the upper 80's and low 90's. We just have to get to Halloween and then into November to see those temperatures fall. I know I'm ready.
