What We Know About the Texas Love Triangle That Left 3 Dead
Texas officials released the details on a surprising love triangle that resulted in the deaths of all three people involved: two murders and one suicide.
Alleged Suicide While in Custody
A man was pronounced dead from alleged suicide while awaiting trial in his Bexar County jail cell. He was said to be a part of the love triangle and to have shot the other two involved in the relationship.
The body of 48-year-old Lorenzo Aleman was found in his jail cell just before 6 p.m. on July 15 after he was charged with capital murder of two people.
The Fatal Texas Love Triangle
This all stems from events that took place just two days prior on July 13 where San Antonio police were called to an H-E-B in response to gunfire being heard.
The shooting took place at an H-E-B in San Antonio on the 4100 block of S. New Braunfels Ave.
Once they arrived on the scene, they discovered a 31-year-old male and a 41-year-old female who were both pronounced dead after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Upon further investigation, officials learned that the two victims were involved in a love triangle with 48-year-old Lorenzo Aleman.
The female was actually Aleman's wife, and upon discovering the two together, he shot them both in a fit of jealousy, according to reports from My San Antonio.
The identities of the two victims were not immediately released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office.
