Summer is here and that means more and more Texans are getting outside and enjoying the outdoor weather. In recent years, fishing has seen a big increase people participating and this year seems like it's no different. So with summer upon us, where are some good places to fish in Texas?

The good news for Texans? We have a ton of places to go fishing. Whether you are hitting a lake, stream, river, or local pond, there are plenty of places to cast.

When searching for a good place to fish this weekend, or really any day. You can always check out the weekly fishing reports from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. This week, several lakes check in with "GOOD" reports.
