Hotel in Florida Hilariously Wakes up Guests by Blasting ‘Circle of Life’

Spring Break is a time for kids to get drunk, party all night, then most likely sleep until 2 the next day. Unless you stayed at the Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach, FL this Spring Break. Everyday at 11 a.m. during Spring Break, the hotel staff decided to give their guests a wakeup call, by blasting The Lion King's "Circle of Life" throughout the pool area of the hotel. Guests would stand out on their balconies, waiting to hear the tune every morning. Unless you were that drunk friend, who was trying to sleep off the upcoming hangover. Then you were kind of screwed.

The tradition actually started in 2012, and has been such a success, that many guests call to make sure that the song will be played during their stay. Holiday Inn staff actually said that they get several hundred calls every year to make sure they get the Disney wake up call. Better book for your Spring Break trip for next year now, looks like they sell out every year.
