Three fourth grade girls from New York tried to murder their teacher using hand sanitizer, and it's a lot deadlier than it sounds.

The teacher in Elba, New York told her students that she was severely allergic to anti-bacterial hand sanitizer, after which the young girls plotted the murder. The fourth grade girls planned to cover classroom items they knew the teacher would touch with the substance. They also told classmates they were going to "kill" their teacher. Another student told his mother about the plot, who then notified the school board.

When the girls were asked why they wanted kill their teacher, they told the Sheriff's Department that the entire class has "problems with her" and that she "yells" at the students. Since the girls were unable to carry out their attack on their teacher because they were caught, they will not be facing criminal charges. They were suspended from school though, by the Elba Central School District. Learn more about this story on the People website.
