Film Crews Return To Las Cruces

Once again, Las Cruces is the setting for a new movie.

The film industry and Las Cruces have really been buddying up lately. Most recently the city of the crosses and it's neighboring areas served as the setting for the Clint Eastwood film, The Mule.  Coming soon, filming will begin for an independent film titled 2 - Way.

The drama centers on the story of a down-on-her-luck Hollywood screenwriter moving from Los Angeles to Las Cruces to take up a professorship at New Mexico State University. "With her husband in tow, they leave the illusions and disappointments of their urban life behind, and hit the road in a two-car caravan for the serenity of Southwestern life," a news release states. "An unsettling encounter upends everything they thought they knew about their 19-year marriage — and each other."  - Las Cruces Sun News

The movie is being directed by 5 time Emmy award winner,(and New Mexico resident!),  Dyanna Taylor. Taylor has also earned herself a Peabody Award.
