FC Juarez Rolls Out Bright New Uniforms For 2021
The FC Juarez front office has been hard at work since last season ended, approximately 2 and half months ago, to refresh the image of the Bravos since their more than dismal 2021 Clausura season.
The ownership group (which includes MountainStar Sports Group) has opened their wallets to bring in a coaching staff that is second to none in Mexican soccer. Hiring Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti as head coach was the biggest news in all of Liga BBVA MX this offseason.
The hiring of assistant coach Rafael Puente Jr. also left many with their mouths wide open.
More than half a dozen new acquisitions have solidified the hopes and aspirations of a fan base that is eager to see this club to be a playoff contender instead of a bottom dweller as far as the standings table go.
The final piece of that reimagining puzzle was revealed today. The uniforms for the 2021 Apertura/2022 Clausura season were revealed to VIP’s and the media.
FC Juarez has changed official outfitters for the upcoming season. They have changed one Mexcian brand for another. The team has left Carrerra (which they have been with for the past few seasons) for Sporelli, a brand out of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
For the upcoming season the Bravos will change their home team colors from Green to White.
The Bravos will wear green on the road, and their third/alternate jersey, a watermelon red color, is presumed to be worn for special occasions or matches.
The Bravos season opener will take place tomorrow night, a home match at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium against Toluca. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 830pm MST. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 8pm MST and will be televised on TUDN.
