Family of the Security Guard Shot in Anthony, NM Seeks Donations

Javier Hernandez was working as a security guard in Anthony, NM. He was shot three times by a man with unknown motives. Javier's family is seeking donations for medical expenses.

Our news partners at KVIA-TV reports a 62-year-old man went into the Human Services Department building on Crossett Lane in Anthony, New Mexico. After entering the building, Martinez allegedly shot an on-duty security officer and immediately left the building.

It's unknown at this time what his motives were for the shooting. The investigation continues and investigators will release more information as it becomes available.
