Emotional Christmas Ad Has Such A Twisted Heartbreaking Message

Not only has Germany given us the gift of Krampus, they have also given us one of the most sad and twisted commercials for a grocery store. Edeka is the company that came up with such a heartbreaking viral ad to spread the message of family this holiday season.

The video tells the story of a lonely Dad that is constantly ignored by his kids during Christmas. They call him each Christmas and tell him they can't make it this year, maybe next, and it never happens. So this sad elderly man decides to fake his own death so he can get his kids to visit. Which is just heartbreaking. Completely heartbreaking.

Luckily, the kids do show up and hopefully understand that they need to give their dad way more attention. We all probably can learn something from ad and start appreciating the people in our lives a lot more. Now, go take a moment to appreciate your loved ones.
